Application Process

Beginning with the 2009 class, the Division of Nephrology and
Hypertension at Harbor-UCLA will handle applications for its fellowship
positions through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) and
participate in the match program through National Residency Match Program
(NRMP).

ERAS transmits applications, letters of recommendation, transcripts,
and other supporting credentials from applicants and medical schools to
fellowship, osteopathic internship, and residency programs using the
internet.

Selected applicants are invited for interviews.
If
you are interested in applying for a fellowship, please submit your application
to the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). You will need to
submit:
1) The
Common Application Form,
2)
Personal Goals Statement,
3) Medical
School transcripts,
4) Dean's Letter, plus three letters of
recommendation, and
5) USMLE Transcripts, and ECFMG Status Report
(for foreign medical graduates only)
